A unique ballet class for youth and adults that incorporates imagery, breath and sensation to deepen into a ballet vocabulary. For movers who have a background in ballet.
The class begins with dance conditioning using exercise balls, elastic bands and light weights. The class progresses with a barre, center practice and ends with a stretch and finding stillness.
During the summer Monday classes will follow a structure of dance conditioning followed by a ballet barre. Friday classes with introduce movers to somatic practices, structured improvisation and contemporary movement.
There are 8 classes over the summer. 4 classes in July Monday and Friday and 4 classes in August Monday and Friday.
