Explore the body-mind connection and the wisdom and imagination of the psychological and sensory states that exist in the body. You will be introduced to a wide variety of approaches and techniques to experience the continuity and deep connection of the mind-body processes. Experiences of embodiment and the expressive potential of the body will be the predominant mode of expression while also allowing for multimodal approaches such as writing and image making. Instruction will culminate in a living arts performative experience of integrating personal narrative by engaging information from the body.

Beyond Ballet for adult, starting ages 16.

A creative class that is designed for adult students of all levels.

Emphasis in the class will be on correct body alignment/placement, strength and flexibility. Exercise balls, elastic bands, and light weights are used in class. This class also uses breath, imagery and mindful focus.

No class March 13th. A total of 15 classes.
